Open letter to the broadcasting councils and directorships of public service broadcasters

Despite the tremendous importance of jazz in Germany and the clear cultural mission of public service broadcasting, the ARD is planning to introduce further severe cuts to its jazz content from an already impoverished and reduced level. This open letter is directed against these cuts and you are invited to add your signature and spread the word.

We demand: No merging of content across evening schedules and no cuts to daily jazz content availability from cultural programming - neither from linear radio schedules nor from on-demand offers.

On the contrary:We demand visibly stronger support for jazz across the ARD and the reversal of cuts that have already been made!
